As the only women’s shelter in the Halton region, ZayZay Living is happy to announce we were able to make a contribution to Halton Women’s Place (HWP). Their Ruby Gala held on February 24th, 2018, is an annual event. It is a major fundraiser for HWP, with proceeds from the evening going towards its public education and advocacy program, which is designed to educate children and youth, with the hope of preventing violence against women. On average each year Halton Women’s Place shelters help 1,000 women and children and counsellors receive about 2,100 calls through their help line. Help is welcome throughout the year.
